Keeping Outdoor Girl free to use
Outdoor Girl exists to share useful information and inspiration for outdoor adventures, including the ones right on your doorstep. I want everyone to be able to enjoy this content without a subscription fee.
I also want the site to look clean and be a nice place to read content. That’s why I don’t run pop-up ads or accept payment from companies to be featured.
However, the website still has running costs, including hosting, domain fees and the time spent creating and maintaining content.
How affiliate links work
Some links on Outdoor Girl are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps contribute towards the cost of running the website.
Companies cannot pay to be featured, and affiliate partnerships never determine what I write about or which products and services I recommend. I share resources because I believe they’re useful to readers, whether or not an affiliate link is available.

I only share products, services and resources that I believe may be helpful to my readers. Where relevant, I use, test or research them before recommending them.
